Connect your students with books
Matching readers with texts sounds simple, but when you have a roomful of readers at all different ability and motivation levels, it can suddenly seem impossible. With Lexile® measures and Find a Book on this site, you can much more easily and effectively guide each student to great reading.
One goal of the Lexile Framework is to help teachers know something about the independent reading experience that one student will have with one book. It's not to restrict students to books only within their level or reading range. Lexile helps you know what the reading experience will probably be like for eac student in your class, so you can deliver support to those students who need it, and additional resources to those who need no help at all.
