You can build your English-language reading skills by matching your TOEFL iBT Reading score with a Lexile measure. Your Lexile measure allows you to find books that reflect your reading ability and interests, and are challenging enough to help strengthen your reading skills. MetaMetrics and ETS offer this free service to take the guesswork out of choosing the right materials for you to read.
What is my Lexile measure?
To get started, select your TOEFL iBT Reading score to determine your Lexile measure and range. Then click on the "Find Books" button to build a customized list of books that match your reading level and interests. You can use this reading list at the library, bookstore or on the Internet to select the right materials to practice your reading.

The Lexile measure shown here is an estimate of your reading level based on your TOEFL iBT Reading section score. Because all tests have some amount of error, your Lexile measure may change if you retake the TOEFL iBT.
The relationship between Lexile measures and TOEFL test reading scores was established through a research study. During this study, approximately 3,000 participants completed both the TOEFL reading test and a Lexile reading test. Researchers examined participants' performance on these tests and linked TOEFL Reading scores with the Lexile scale.
